Three hundred common dolphins delighted us offshore this morning with their fantastic antics. Crew member Trevor plucked a large plastic trash bag out of the water which must have brought us wonderful karma….the next sighting was a “clan” of over 30 short-finned PILOT WHALES…a VERY rare sighting off our coast. Words can’t describe how excited guests and crew were to witness these animals! Lots of pictures were taken and will be shared with researchers building a catalog of “blackfish.” On our rather late return to the dock, we also spotted a couple socializing gray whales. You must get out there and see what awaits you!
