We had to work for our sightings today, but hard work DOES pay off! Our morning trip discovered 3 inshore bottlenose dolphins, 500 common dolphins, and one very late SOUTHBOUND gray whale. In the afternoon we covered many miles and were able to find 20-30 scattered common dolphins and 3 northbound gray whales, two of which were INCREDIBLY small, certainly no older than one year, making their first northbound migration without their mothers.

It’s going to be a scorcher tomorrow – come out on the boat to beat the heat!
