Todays trips were made extra exciting by the swell coming in to the San Diego coastline. Although it was a little bumpy coming out of the jetties, the seas were forgiving and flattened out further offshore.
We were able to find 8 gray whales in the morning, and 10 on our afternoon trip. We also saw a handful of pacific white sided dolphins on our afternoon trip.
It’s a great time to see our most popular whale here in San Diego. We are consistently seeing lots of grays as they are headed south to the warm lagoons of the Baja peninsula. Come out and see for yourself!
