If you were a guest on the Eclipse with San Diego Whale Watch–you had a fantastic morning. Four–probably five–mating gray whales, with 50 common dolphins nearby and about 10 Pacific white-sided dolphins checking out the action. After observing these lovebirds for awhile, we headed out and got a couple looks at an extremely small humpback whale. A few harbor seals were seen as well. On the return trip, we watched six coastal (inshore) bottlenose dolphins, including two cow/calf pairs. What is keeping you on land, when there is so much excitement out on our Pacific Ocean??
