Today was another “Day of the Dolphin” off the coast of San Diego. We saw a handful of Inshore Bottlenose Dolphins on our way out of Mission Bay and eventually found a pod of about 300 Common Dolphins before having to head back to the dock. Luckily, the pod was showing lots of different behaviors such as leaping, tail slapping, and courtship, giving our guests a good variety to watch. The sun was out the entire trip, there was a little bit of a swell, and the wind was picking up towards the end of our trip. Hopefully the good weather sticks around for tomorrow. Come out with us and see what we can find!
