It was absolutely beautiful today out on the water. The ride was smooth, the visibility was phenomenally clear, and the sun was shining down upon the San Diego coastline. We found a mega pod of Common Dolphins that spread across the horizon as far as the eye could see. From where we were off Point Loma all the way to the Los Coronados Islands there were at least over 800 leaping Common Dolphins, maybe even 1,000. There were some cow-calf pairs mixed into the pod and lots of different exciting behaviors. Leaps, tail slaps, babies, speed, and all forms of communication were going on in this mega pod and our guests got a real treat getting to spend the majority of our trip with them. The holiday weekend is coming up, and spots are filling up fast, so get your spots now to come out with us! See you there!
