We are back and better than ever! We had one trip today and we had our sights set on the south. We pushed out towards the southwest and came across a gray whale just 3 miles out! We stuck with it for several breath cycles and it loved showing off its tail fluke. We pushed further south and came across 2 more gray whales that were rather large. They were changing direction a lot but we were able to stick with them for a few cycles. As we pushed towards the north in search of dolphins, we found 2 more gray whales making a total of 5! We were seeing more spouts off in the distance so there was definitely a lot of activity out there!
