We had a couple of fin-tastic trips today!
We set out west on the Pacific this morning and immediately met up with the best greeting committee- a pod of long beaked common dolphins in a feeding frenzy! After hanging with these little ones for a bit we headed further west to see if we could find some EXTRA large whales. We were in luck! We found so many fin whales out there we kind of stopped counting! We hung out with about 5 and there were just endless spouts off in the distance! Our afternoon trip was super lucky and was treated to that same congregation of whales with a surprise visit from some sassy short beaked common dolphins with TONS of little babies.
