The Pacific is a generous thing this summer! It’s given us so many incredible experiences and it’s just not stopping!
Our morning trip was immediately greeted with a feeding pod of log beaked common dolphins! The stopped what they were doing for a bit to hitch a quick ride on our bow and in our wake! We travled further out west and located the whale zone again! we had 6+ blue whales n the area again today! The amount of blue whales we’ve been lucky to have in our waters over the last month has been absolutely breathtaking! The afternoon trip was greated with ANOTHER pod of dolphns right out the gates! They’re always so much fun to see! We caught back up to the whales we saw earlier, saw the same mom and baby we saw yesterday ( I love it when they decide they like San Diego and stay awhile.) While we were hanging out with the blues of the second trip, we had some gregarious bottlenose dolphins pass by and put on and awesome display! They were porpoising and jumping everywhere, pushing SO MUCH water! So cool to see the power these animals move through the water with!
