Looks like yesterday’s luck rolled through to today!
We had found a playful pod of ~50 long beaked common dolphins just at the drop off! The blue skies and crystal clear water allowed us to observe the whole pod just underneath our boat! We also found a fin whale at the drop off, and just in time! We had warm sunny conditions through our whole trip but as we headed back for mission bay – a large storm system was racing towards us from the north. We got safely back to mission bay with a beautiful sky show of so many beautiful types of clouds that were rapidly forming, changing and morphing right before our eyes.
