We travelled whaley far to find wildlife today but once we reached ~13 miles, we were rewarded with a wonderful sighing of ~200 long-beaked common dolphins! They were leaping out of the water and surfing in our wake. We found the LB common dolphins hanging out in over ~2300 ft of water! We also saw a flying fish today! We have another trip coming up so please stay tuned.
We searched very long and very hard on our sunset trip. We had beautiful sea conditions and were escorted back to home base by about 10 bottlenose dolphins, including 2 cow and calf pairs! They were being super playful and giving us a show to close out our night.
