We set out into the fog today! The jetties were engulfed with it and we had about 1/4 mile of visibility to start our trip. Once we got out a few miles, it began to clear up. We got the drop-off and spotted some splashes that belonged to some Common dolphins. It was a small pod of ~25 Long-beaked Common dolphins. We noticed more dolphins out in the distance as well as hundreds of birds! There were mostly shearwaters, but also could see gulls, pelicans, and terns. The huge feeding frenzy spanned about a mile. The Commons were busy feeding, but some came over to say hi! We observed some breaching while others porpoised with a nice big swing of its tail into the water. We spotted a California sea lion and 1 Mola mola nearby!

We hope you can join us on a trip soon!
