After a few days off the water due to poor weather we were SO EXCITED to get out there and see what we could find. Big Blue did not disappoint! We had some STUNNING conditions when we found a pod of long beaked common dolphins. The crystal clear water gave us some of the clearest views of there dolphins and the mirror like finish provided dreamy reflections as they lept out of the water into the air. We saw whales too, or rather TWO whales! When we headed north west, we were able to locate a humpback whale with the assistance of our friends on another whale watch boat. We got to this whale early enough in the trip that we were able to spend tons of time with it as it travels south! Eventually we had to head back to shore – but we had one last surprise whale pop up right next to us a few miles from shore. We got a quick but good look at this bonus whale!
The whales are STILL good – i highly recommend getting out here.
