The wind is a blowin out there but we’re still having some epic sea time! We found a MEGA POD of long beaked common dolphins on both our morning and afternoon trips! These common dolphins frequent our area, but it’s not every day you get to witness 1000 dolphins all racing in one direction feeding on baitfish. This was an HOURS long feast! In the morning we found a pair of fin whales down south, it was a gorgeous sunny blue day so we could see their white jaws glowing from beneath the surface. This afternoon we had the long beaks again but we also found about 150 short beaked common dolphins as well. The shorties had so many tiny babies with them!

We’ve got another trip to go so, stay tuned!

I’m bringing Humpy-back yea! Them, other whales don’t know how to act yea! On today’s sunset trip, we found a massive feeding frenzy of California brown pelicans, a MEGA POD of long-beaked common dolphins, ~50 offshore bottlenose dolphins, California sea lions and one Humpback whale!! The ocean was a little rocky but we had so much wildlife and activity it was all exciting and whaley fun out there! 🙂 Tomorrow brings more ocean adventure, please come join us!
