We had one trip today and some rare sightings! We started the trip off with some inshore bottlenose dolphins at the jetties, then a few miles out we encountered a green sea turtle resting in some kelp! A sea turtle sighting is always rare for us. We then reached the drop off and found lots of diving birds and a big pod of long-beaked common dolphins that led us to a feeding frenzy of birds, dolphins, and sea lions all feeding on millions of northern anchovy. One of the birds we spotted was a brown booby in the mix. Further out we encountered short-beaked common dolphins and a Mola mola!
