Today was a great one aboard the Eclipse. Guests had a fabulous time soaking up the sun and local wildlife off the coast of San Diego.
We had numerous sightings today including a few pods of common dolphins totaling around 150 or so. We also had some great interactions with some humpback whales. Our afternoon trip saw a pair of these guys on their way south. We stayed with them for a while, and just as I said. “this will be our last look”, one of them raised it’s pectoral fin as if to say goodbye. We found another humpback a little further out and got a nice tail fluke before heading in for the day.
